Write down the things that you like, the things that you enjoy doing, sports, cooking, music, religion, friends, family, caring, charming, someone to rely on.the list can go on and on. Write down positive things about you just in general, without any purpose.
Now, take a look at your list of characteristics. Which ones do you feel that you can put up online for everyone to see without being negative, without being too arrogant and without sounding silly?
Selecting the right characteristics matters a great deal. Now, let’s turn this task around and this time do the same thing but write down the characteristics that you are looking for in the person you are looking for through online dating. Which ones come up this time?
When you look at it from this point, you should see some common characteristics listed there. Why does this matter? You will learn in the next chapters more about this but having the right words in your profile is absolutely necessary to getting the right people to your website.
