Spain is country with a mixed and complex heritage and Spanish cooking reflects this fact. Even the Reconquista (the Christian reconquest of the Iberian pennisula from Muslims) has left its traces in Spanish cuisine - pork is popular in Spanish food, and historically was a political statement of Christian identity because it was not eaten by Jews or Muslims.

BBQ Chicken and Corn on the Cob
Of course there’s nothing better than grilled corn on the cob but what meat does it go best with? When grilling outdoors at your favorite picnic site, pairing finger foods like barbecue chicken and grilled corn on the cob is enough to make your mouth water. Add a quick side of lite coleslaw and you have the perfect healthy menu.
Perfectly grilled corn on the cob is easy. Simply place 4 ears of corn, shucked, onto a large piece of foil. Place two ice cubes and two tablespoons of butter on the corn and wrap tightly. Grill for 15-20 minutes; remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes. Carefully unwrap and enjoy!

I know a lot of it is not good for you. BUT what is up with it calling out your name and saying come buy me I am so good. I talking the arches, and I am talking the French fries. Every time I pass this place I want some and I immediately think how crispy and good they are. You don’t even need ketchup on them. What is up with that? Food does not talk to you. Is there anybody else that is experiencing this?
